E3D+ study of the current educational offer in the EU

The E3D+ partners are conducting a study which will provide a complete analysis of the current skills and qualifications needs of the European 3D Printing Industry compared with the current training offer in Europe. It will provide the information needed for preparing a more attractive learning content supporting competitiveness and employment in the sector.

This report will be done with the feedback provided by different stakeholders: Enterprises from different sectors, VET institutions, Students already involved in similar VET programmes and students willing to work in the sector, etc.

In particularly at the moment The E3D+ partners are conducting a study of the current educational offer existing in the EU, taking especial attention to VET programmes. An analysis of the State of The Art that has been carried out during the preparation of this proposal, an initial work for this activity has been already done that will settle up the basis of this activity. It will deeply analyse all the training offer already identified and those that will be identified during this activity. All relevant information of all European training programmes will be extracted, in terms of contents, ECVET, practices, skills required to students (ie. Academic background, language skills, experience with specific software, etc), employability rates, cost, etc.
